And introduce myself. I'm Stephanie. I'm 32 years old and I have a 16 month old daughter named Amber Marie. I'm also 34 weeks pregnant with a baby boy whom will be named Ethan Tyler. Ethan is probably going to have some problems when he is born. He has too much fluid in his brain and may need a shunt to drain it after birth. I wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has dealt with this with their child(ren). I look forward to talking to everyone!

Does little Ethan have hydrocephaly? My son had anencephaly which is not anything like that, but wanted to welcome you and we are here for you if you need is, just jump right in. |

Yes, the drs are in the process of diagnosing him with hydrocephaly. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon next week to discuss Ethan's outcome. He may have to have surgery after he's born. I'm so sorry about your little boy. |
