Seriously.  So what if the kids want the happy meal toy? Simple solution - limit your fast food meals. Kids do not get in the car and drive themselves to McDonalds.

Kids can pester all day long and parents have the choice to say yes or no.  Alexander sees that damn butterfly garden commercial and begs for one every night. They can market to my kids all day long but that doesn't mean I have to buy crap or let them eat junk all the time.

Yeah, parents have a choice. You don't like it, don't go. Ridiculous!

I do hate, however, than McD's brands itself to kids so much - Jaret has actually pointed to the M on my keyboard and said "fry-fries!" and it's not b/c we go to McD's that often - it's b/c of all the commercials he sees!

But when we do go for fast food, we usually end up at McD's just b/c it's so kid friendly! It's the only fast food place that has wheels on their highchairs and when I'm out with two kids wheel-able highchairs are a MUST!! They also put everything you need on a clean highchair tray and then plastic wrap it all up so you just grab a chair and you're good to go. It's just so convenient. But I hate it b/c if we go to McD's that means I don't eat b/c I'm always trying to lose weight and there's nothing I can really eat there that is filling and satisfying and I refuse to use up my lunch cals and be left hungry. I hate McD's.  lol

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard! And besides you can get a 4 piece nugget with apple dippers for 190 calories lol A little more if you want the caramel sauce too. Sure the nuggets are fried but how many parents feed their kids nuggets at home?? We should all be sued too!
So what's next? I saw a huge display of Mac & Cheese that was plastered with Toy Story pictures, so what did Eli beg for? That kind. It doesn't have to be a toy, a stupid picture makes them want it just as much!

Taking choices away won't make kids or adults healthier.  If it is not McDs it will be the bag of cheetos or ice cream or whatever.  Unless you outlaw everything but veggies and bean sprouts people will make unhealthy decisions.  But it has to be their choice to make.

omg. Just dont take your kids there, its really fucking simple choice to make. My kids hardly ever once in a blue moon get to eat there. Rather take them to Chick fil a if we eat fast food. Can get a sweet fruit cup there!

We don't have one of those frown Just McDonalds and Burger King. Blah. And they're building a new McDonalds, not sure why...but I'm hoping they put a Taco Bell where the old McDonalds is drool

People just need to get a grip and realize it's not healthy to eat fast food 7 days a week. I eat there, maybe once a month. Maybe. Probably not even that much. It's mostly reserved for long trips or now and then a treat for Eli.

But really I'm not surprised. People sued them because their coffee was hot and the cup didn't say to be careful. Dense
