We gave Zoe cereal at four months.  If I had to do it over again I would wait until six months.

The fact that you people have tried the food, youre my heros. I cant stand the smell  of a lot of the foods (I like the fruits those dont smell like cat food) so to actually taste it myself i think I'd throw up  lol I asked dh if when its time hes ok with me making some of it myself  wink

I keep saying I'm going to make it myself and then never do. It's .46 cents a jar, that seems so much cheaper than me cooking down foods and then pureeing them, I don't have time for that lol
I like some of the fruits, though they taste odd, not quite like you think they would.

I never did either!  I would have liked to, but what with working full time something had to give.

Good girl we'll be out to starbucks in no time!  lmao
I don't see myself making my own baby food either...I don't even cook my own damn dinners.  lmao But I do like the way Amanda has had some good success with softened whole foods.

Erin, mashed up finely avacado and bananas are great! No cooking, easy for you, BF bbaies love it! Those were masons first foods. He was about 5 and a half months when we started. He was sooo ready!
I started 3 months with Lynz, bad doc advise. She loved it but she was a fat little baby. She still carries some weight in the middle. She was formula feed, also. And Mason is so skinny. I wonder if it is because of these differences?
