We went and did our will today. Its being written up this week and we'll have it by the middle of next week. It wasnt as much work as I expected. Our lawyers pretty awesome too. We were lucky enough to have the gaurdians power of attorny and executors fall into place for us I have a few friends who dont have anyone for their kids, not even actively involved relatives.

They also got their social ins numbers, health cards and life insurance and savings accounts with $$ in them lol.... 3 weeks old......

That's great!

I really need to decide on who gets the kids should something happen to me and Kevin.. I think right now, they would probably go to Susie and Jon 50/50.. and Kevin's dad or my mom handle the financial part. Jon and Susie are really good with the kids..

Good for you.........I dont want what happened to me happen to J at ANY age and thats to have my bury his own mom with nothing planned and nothing set in place

We still don't have a will, either. Our major road block is paying to have it done. We need to just suck it up and do it.

I hear ya on the cost. Our lawyer is waiting for chris to go back to work to get paid, nice eh? He just wanted it done so there was stuff in place.

Shop around for lawyers though some have a better rate

You're doing great! We still don't have one, cuz we don't feel like forking out the money for it, sad huh? Eli has a great saving's but I haven't started Audrey's yet cuz I don't want her screaming in the bank
