Pump more frequently rather than for 30 minute sessions...  you want to get the milk moving and frequency will help more than length of time.  20 minutes at a time is easier on the girls.

MA, I hope it clears quickly for you! If you start running a fever, call your OB/GYN. You don't want the clog to lead to mastitis.

Mel, a clogged milk duct is usually more visible on the breast, away from the nipple & areola.

I've had a couple and I had a red patch on the breast which was warm/hot to the touch, tender and had a lump underneath.

I used warm compresses, started each breastfeeding session on that side (hungry baby does wonders for clearing a clog...LOL) and used my free hand to gently massage just behind/above the affected area during nursing.

In both instances, the clog cleared completely within two days.
