Lilah has been gumming her fists and our fingers, drooling a ton, is she teething already?

Both of mine started teething around that age, but they didn't get teeth until months later. I have drool monsters.

She's totally teething...wah cry

Shes been uber fussy, gnawing on anything that comes near her mouth (she prefers a finger with a receiving blanket around it) and more drool than I have ever seen!

Does anything help make her more comfortable?  How long do babies teeth before the teeth break through?

Hyland's Teething Tablets are great! They seem to work pretty well with Eva. I've only had to give them to her on a few occasions, but they basically calm her down and put her to sleep if she's uber-fussy. Wet a washcloth and put it in the freezer and let her chew on that. Sounds like she might like that if she likes the blanket covered finger.

Babies teeth for months sometimes before a tooth will actually break through.  hugs

Teething tablets are the best smile At that age I only gave them to her if she couldn't settle for a nap or at bedtime.
Audrey has spells. She'll teeth really hard for like a week and then take a week off lol So it's been going on a long time without much to show for it. Teething tablets during the on week are a sanity saver!

I am going to get a teething necklace, but they wouldn't be useful right now as she doesn't grab and pull to her mouth or do anything with objects on purpose yet.  But They are on my shopping list now that's for sure!

The teething necklaces are made just to be worn, not to gnaw on. It's the amber that helps with the pain. I've thought about getting one for Eva since Dani swears by them, but so far she hasn't been too much of a bear with the teething. We'll see as the molars and eye teeth come in. Those were killer with Jackson.

I have some teething tabs here if you want to try them. I'll bring some the next time I see you. If they work for her theres a store near me that actually sells them. I havent tried them yet.

The boys have no teeth and started early...

I know we've been through this before, but the teething necklaces, it's for the Mom to wear right?  Just want to clarify, I can't figure out *how* they work.

You might be thinking of nursing necklaces, Cindy. Those are for moms to wear. Teething necklaces are for the babies to wear. The amber needs to be in contact with their skin and it gives pain relief.

Baby wears the necklace. Body heat warms the amber. Skin absorbs the oils which help with pain. pirate
